Everyone loves the sea and the beach. The sea evokes images of relaxation and fun. It evokes images of swimming, waves and seashells. Not many people may know this, but seashells work as great bathroom decors. Shells can also be made into accessories and they can be incorporated into the bathroom design. Various bathroom furniture, like the bath line cabinet, will work well with a seashell themed decoration.
You can paint the bathroom walls the color of the seashore. Excellent examples of seashore colors are coral, beige or turquoise. You can also grind shells and apply them to the walls. This will add more texture and make a person feel that he or she is really on the beach. If you do not want to change the colors of your walls, you can add stencils or designs of images of the beach or seashells. You can also hang pictures of the beach on the wall. You can also glue shells as a border.
You can also string real seashells and use them as a decorative shower curtain. You need to use either a clear or a solid liner for privacy. Purchase towels with embroideries of seashells, this will make them for into the design scheme of the room. Arrange them on the linen cabinet. If you can’t find any towels with embroideries, you can purchase towels with solid colors that you remind you of the beach.
Place small glasses or small containers strategically in the bathroom. Fill these glasses with sand and seashells. Do not forget to accessorize. Use candles in the shade of seashells. This will not only add a decorative statement but it will also add warmth and lighting to the room. Display these candles to decorate an empty counter or a shelf. You can also put shells on the border of your mirror.
Take the beach into your bathroom and have a good time with it.

Finding the perfect shower for a bathroom has become more of a struggle than it once was. Most home owners (and new buyers, for that matter) have traditionally just looked for something simple and easy – usually a wall mounted unit above a bath tub. But due to changes in the market, changes in technology, and simple changes in decor, some of the newer detached models have become more popular. Shower cabins have slowly but surely taken a great deal of the market share, as many owners and buyers prefer having a separate area in which they can shower. For those that want to add a bit of luxury to their shower experience, or simply want to make their bathroom more appealing to potential buyers, installing a jetted shower cabin can be quite a good idea.
Jetted shower cabins are, even at first glance, typically a bit different than the usual separate shower area. Generally an enclosed octagonal or hexagonal shape, these shower stalls feature multiple enclosed walls and a single entry door. On each non door side sits several jets, somewhat similar to what one would more typically find a jacuzzi. These jets, combined with what is usually a variable setting shower head, can make the shower experience quite a luxury for its users. The installation is a bit more difficult than with a standard stall – one should be either quite familiar with plumbing or have a professional on hand – but the end result leads to a fascinating addition to the bathroom.
Adding a bit more luxury to a home’s bathing area is one of the first things that many home owners would like to do. A jetted shower cabin is a great way to add a bit more comfort to the home. While the prices may be high for these items, these simple cabins can provide a great way to start or end the day.
